Please return grandaughter's present

Thursday, March 29, 2007 10:14 AM EDT

On March 11, I bought a pink iPod Nano for my 11-year-old granddaughter for her birthday.
On Tuesday, March 15, she lost

it, either on her school bus or at

school (Port Byron Middle School).

Now I know some child found it and thinks “wow.”

Yeah, “wow.” It was very expensive and my granddaughter is very upset over losing her birthday present that she wanted so bad.

I can't believe parents will not

question their children when they

see them with such an expensive

item.

I work hard for my money and it took a while to save up the money to buy the Nano for her.

Please ask your children if they found a pink Nano.

I will pay a reward for the return of it - no questions asked.

" Maybe the coyote from one of the other letters to the editor stole it. If you yell at a coyote, and he doesn't turn to look, its because he has the music on too loud. "

" I've owned cars that I paid less for than what a Nano costs... nonetheless, "finders keepers" seems to be the rule these days. Hope it turns up. (Side note to the webmaster: can you not see how the text is not lined up when you're publishing this page? It reads like bad haiku.) "

" It's sad, but neither you nor your granddaughter will ever see that ipod again.. some kid probably think's that they have died and gone to heaven.. trust is gone in this Nation.. and it is really sad! "

" be, why would any parent allow their child to bring such an expensive to school in the first place? It is one thing to send them with a less expenive item to listen to on the bus or what have you - but a ipod Nano. Crazy... "
