Why are the Democrats trying to pull us out of this war? It certainly is not out of concern for our soldiers. Where were they taught that running from aggression solves the problem?

Al-Qaida's attacks on America were happening during the 1990s. We simply chose to treat them as a law enforcement issue until Sept. 11, 2001. We did not view them as a serious threat. Going back to that policy will likely bring similar results. “The definition of insanity is repeating the same action and expecting different results.”

I understand there are those in America who feel we deserved the events of Sept. 11, 2001, I just can't believe they are very numerous. We should think ahead and opt not to allow our children's future to remain jeopardized by radical Muslim extremists, They will have plenty of other challenges for them to overcome. Why quit when the job is half done? Unlike previous wars, those of us without family serving in the military have reaped peace and security without any personal sacrifice. Let's put politics aside, stop taking our freedom for granted, and start supporting our men and women serving in the Middle East for a change.
