Auburn driver injured in crash
An Auburn driver was involved in a head-on collision with another car on Route 34 in Lansing Monday morning, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office reported.
Deputies determined that Alexander Orofino, of Auburn, was operating a 2002 Hyundai southbound on Route 34 when his vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 1999 Volvo operated by Susan R. Rider, of Fulton. Deputies responded to the accident near the intersection of Route 34 and Munson Road in Lansing at approximately 6:50 a.m.
