Group seeks yarn to help out children, troops

Monday, March 19, 2007 12:15 PM EDT

We are still looking for your help with asking our community for new/used yarn to be donated to us.
We are asking for yarn to make hats, scarves, mittens, baby blankets, lap blankets for our school children, babies and yes, even our men and women that are serving in the military.

Some of our ladies have even been making slippers to help keep their feet warm. So if you do have some, please, we'll accept any amount or colors.

We thank you. Drop off at 7 Chapman Ave., Auburn. You may even leave it in our enclosed porch.

We are, as well, looking for good clean, used or new blankets they can use. Even for the homeless.

Thank you again for helping us women, the Incarcerated Veterans Chapter 205, and our children, babies, mothers, the homeless and our military.
