A discovery by New York City Police Department officers has landed a 41-year-old man in Cayuga County Jail, state police said.
State police arrested Antonio Pedraza on charges of first-degree promoting prison contraband. Pedraza, born June 30, 1966, had possession of two weapons in the Auburn Correctional Facility in September 2006, state police said. Corrections officers found shanks or stabbing type weapons.
New York City Police Officers arrested Pedraza this month and discovered the charge. They transferred him to Cayuga County and Pedraza faced Judge Mark Frandrich, who set bail at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
