A boil water advisory issued Saturday remains in effect for the village of Cayuga until further notice.
High winds and heavy runoff from the recent thaw clouded Cayuga Lake, the village's water source, according to village Clerk Joan Rusinko.

The advisory also affects a portion of the town of Aurelius that receives village water service. Village employees delivered fliers informing water customers Saturday, Rusinko said.
