Auburn's eighth-grade boys won the CCYO championship Saturday, winning two games to finish 11-0.
In the semifinals, Auburn defeated R.J. Jewelers, 58-39, behind Mike Granato's 21 points. Phazon Charles contributed 12 points, Jacques Bates had 11, and Kyle Bresee chipped in with eight. Brendan Raftis scored a team-high 12 points for R.J. Jewelers.
In the other semifinal, Moravia topped Southern Cayuga, 35-27. Dylan Langtry scored nine points to lead Moravia, Ryan Nesbitt scored six, and Zach Wilkeson led the defense. Zach Vanostrand scored 10 points for Southern Cayuga, and Matt Bergenstock added four.
In the championship, Auburn topped Moravia, 68-54. Auburn held a slim 31-27 lead at halftime, but a huge game from Jabari Penda (20 points, 16 rebounds, 10 blocks) helped lift Auburn. Charles scored 24 points, and Granato added 10. Langtry scored 22 points to lead Moravia.

Maggie Doyle and Annie Giannone had eight points apiece to lead The Printery. Megan Pinker led the defense.
Championship
The Printery 17, Weedsport 11
Giannone scored eight points, and Connor Clifford contributed six points and eight blocks. Clair Sargent led the defense, completing an undefeated season for The Printery.
