Bush claims that opposing war is opposing God

Wednesday, March 7, 2007 9:38 AM EST

Apparently, George W. Bush believes with all his heart, all his mind, all his soul, and all his strength that God wanted him to order our invasion of Iraq.
Remember, he said he did not consult his dad, but consulted a higher father before giving the order. Therefore, any arguments of mere mortals to the contrary, Dubya believes he must stay the course.

The Decider has decided, and that is that.

The only leverage Congress really has involves funding.

Is it possible that funding for further involvement in Iraq could be on the contingency that the administration pursue any and all diplomatic channels as recommended by the Baker-Hamilton Bi-partisan Commission on Iraq?

" The title of the editorial is misleading. Please explain where in the letter the writer suggest that Bush claimed that opposing the war was opposing God. All Bush said is that he prayed that he was making the right decision. Mr Parker if you do not aggree with that decision...tough! "
