Brown gets caught on the porcelain thrown
Foxy Brown turned up in a Brooklyn church to tell her side of the story of how a visit to a Florida beauty supply store went awry and ended in her arrest.

The 27-year-old rapper said she was dragged half-naked out of the store's restroom and then picked on by police officers because she is black.

“I was exposed from the waist down on the toilet,” she said Monday at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in the Clinton Hill neighborhood.

“The only crime I'm guilty of is being a young black woman,” Brown said.

Mirren, a queen fit for

a royal visit to palace

Helen Mirren, who won the best actress Oscar for playing Queen Elizabeth II in “The Queen,” may be invited to tea, Buckingham Palace said Monday.

The film's director, Stephen Frears, has already suggested that he, Mirren and screenwriter Peter Morgan would visit the queen at the palace next month.

“It is speculation, but we are looking at a number of options,” a palace spokeswoman said Monday.

Mirren won the Oscar on Sunday night in Los Angeles for playing the monarch in “The Queen,” which retells the aftermath of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, in a car crash 10 years ago.

Watts, Schreiber expect pitter patter of tiny feet

Naomi Watts and her boyfriend, Liev Schreiber, are expecting.

News of the Australian actress' pregnancy was released Sunday by fashion-design firm Escada, which created the yellow gown Watts wore to the Academy Awards.

The dress “set off her most precious new asset, the baby she is expecting with long time boyfriend Liev Schreiber,” the company's press release read.

Schreiber confirmed the news on “Late Night with Conan O'Brien” Monday, saying, “Yes, I'm going to be a dad.”

Anastasio can't Phish his way out, pleads guilty

Trey Anastasio pleaded not guilty Tuesday to drug charges stemming from a Dec. 15 traffic stop and was released on bail.

The former Phish frontman, of Richmond, Vt., is charged with felony counts of illegally possessing prescription painkillers and driving while impaired. He is also charged with possessing heroin and an anti-anxiety medication prescribed for someone else, which are misdemeanors.

He could get 14 years in prison if convicted on all counts. All the charges, though, carry minimum sentences that involve no incarceration.
