Here we go again for the umpteenth time replying to another one of Joanne Green's name-calling, mud-smearing letters.
But that is all conservatives are really capable of. Dealing with facts is not their forte. It is, however, mine, Mrs. Green, and that's where you lose all credibility.
Here's a fact, Mrs. Green. We are all (everyone in the world) God's children.
As God's children, we are expected to carry on the good works of Jesus Christ. In short, it is our duty to be fishers of men and disciples of Christ.
Do you by chance, Joanne Green, remember Christ's 12 disciples? Among them was a “doubting Thomas.”
There are plenty of doubting Thomases today who quite frankly doubt too many things. The words of God should never be doubted.
Do you really believe God expects us all to just sit idly by when we see injustices and leave it up to somebody else?
Passing the buck may be all right to you, Joanne Green, but when I meet Jesus Christ, he's not going to accuse me of being a doubting Thomas or not being his disciple, or for that matter, passing the buck.
Do you really believe, Mrs. Green, that if Jesus Christ walked the Earth today, he wouldn't be upset at the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq and the threat of another war with Iran?
Do you really believe he wouldn't be upset at all the wealth-mongering going on in the good old USA? Do you really believe he'd be happy about anything going on in the world today?
The situation in Iraq presently is a living hell. Iran could prove to be another.
Yet you make no mention whatsoever in any of your letters about matters that need to be addressed. You opt to criticize me for bringing important matters to the forefront and have the gall to tell me that I have nothing better to do with my time than write letters.
Let's get one thing straight, Mrs. Green. What's important to God the Father and God the Son is important to me. I'm doing what a true practicing Christian should be doing - the work of the Lord.
