Auburn man wins $100,000 in Raffle to Riches game

If you see a man in Auburn with a bigger smile on his face - or a fatter wallet than normal - you might be looking at a big winner in the New York Lottery.
Perhaps not as ecstatic as the person who bought a $1 million winning ticket in Syracuse, but pretty happy, just the same.

A local man recently won a $100,000 prize in the lottery's Raffle to Riches game.

In Friday's Raffles to Riches drawing, 12 people won $1 million, including one who purchased their ticket at a gas station in Syracuse; 15 people won $100,000; and 60 people won $25,000 - with one of those tickets having been purchased at Wegman's in Fayetteville.

The local winner, who bought his ticket at Kim's Trackside Tavern, has not yet responded to inquiries for an interview, and seems content to remain anonymous, for now.

But that smile might give him away.
