The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office is investigating two separate burglaries that took place this week.
Someone forcibly entered a residence on French Avenue in Owasco between 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The suspect left on foot and headed in the direction of Vanduyne Avenue, the sheriff's office reported.
Also, the Colonial Lodge on Route 41A in Sempronius was burglarized sometime after 9 p.m. Wednesday, and cash was stolen.
Anyone who may have witnessed any people or vehicles in the area of either burglary is asked to call detectives at 253-1610.
