Skaneateles volleyball moves to 4-1

Krissy Ryan had 13 kills three blocks to lead the Skaneateles volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Solvay Monday. The Lakers won 25-23, 21-25, 25-16, 25-21.
Brittany Bird added six kills, 16 assists and three blocks, and Anna Leiss had eight kills and three blocks.

The Lakers (4-1) host Westhill on Monday.

Port Byron 3, Cincinnatus 1

Stephanie VanDitto had a kill, 15 assists and an ace, and Ashley Leja added 10 kills, two assists and an ace in the 28-26, 17-25, 25-23, 26-24 victory.

Becca Manrow had five kills, an assist and a block, and Ryan Mirabito added three aces for the Panthers (1-2).

Westhill 3, Jordan-Elbridge 0

Rachel Jesmer had two aces, two kills and an assist in the 25-15, 25-7, 25-12 loss.

Colleen Manley added a kill and two aces, and Lyndsay Hollis had a kill and a block.

The Eagles (1-2) host Cazenovia Thursday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Onondaga 45, Port Byron 36

Nica Dare recorded 10 points and nine steals, and Shelby Gilbert had nine points and six steals.

The Panthers (0-1) host LaFayette Thursday.
