Murray will continue to gripe after Bush is gone

Thursday, February 8, 2007 9:29 AM EST

Well, I certainly struck a nerve. Murray's last letter was a “lulu!” Obviously he is an emotional extrovert who cannot control the scurrilous remarks that flow from his acid pen.
For his information and further edification, I would like to clear up one thing - I do not have “idols.”

I am wondering if Murray's “idol” would approve of the drivel that he insists on writing?

It is not my nature to be baited by careless, unfounded remarks. Murray's statement that George Bush is my idol is completely unfounded and has no basis in fact.

President Bush is going away in a couple of years.

Unfortunately, Murray is not. But, no matter who is president, he will find something to complain and whine about.

Murray's letters sound like an aging “hippie,” who has nothing to do but write letters.

A lot of his statements are ludicrous, laughable and outlandish - need I say more?

" BTW, Chris, Silverstein worded it this way; "...and so they 'pulled' the building and we watched it fall"...pretty coincidental that they "pulled" it and then it somehow just miraculously fell with no loss of life, no deviation from upright, no sway or incompleteness of destruction, dontcha think?!?! You know Chris, there are people who believe that Jesus burns his face into pieces of toast too because the preacher man says its so, rather than facing the unpleasant truth... "

" Oh please, CHRIS, ALL IT TAKES IS COMMON SENSE TO LOOK AT THE WAY THAT BUILDING CAME DOWN TO KNOW THAT IT WAS DEMOLISHED BY EXPLOSIVES!!! Even the news commentator said it at the time!!! I place no creedence in NIST; at this juncture they're just another Bush-propoganda agency!! "

" Karl: Just because it LOOKS like it was blown out as you said, doesn't mean thats what actually happened. 9/11 conspiracy theorists believe that 7 World Trade Center was deliberately destroyed. Conspiracy theorists cite the 2002 PBS documentary America Rebuilds, in which Silverstein said: "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse." Silverstein's spokesperson, Dara McQuillan, said in September 2005 that by "pull it" Silverstein was referring to the contingent of firefighters remaining in the building, and confirming that they should evacuate the premises. It should be noted however, that the building collapsed just after 5pm, though all firefighter's and law enforcers were evacuated completely from the building by 11:30am. NIST: Structural Engineers, Material Engineers, Chemical Engineers, Construction Engineers, etc... Larry Silverstein: Lawyer, Real Estate Developer Loose Change: Bush hating conspiricy fanatics "

" uh, yyyyeahhh Chris...what was your response to the question I posed about Silverstein's admission about WTC#7 being blown with explosives? I must've missed it with my "Bush-hating glasses". Oh wait! That's right, I forgot. your kind conveniently ignores inconvenient truths. You know, sheep come in all political stripes... BAAAAAAA!!!! "

" Oh Karl, once again using emotion over intellect. I may not be able to pull off leather speedos and the viking look but I've been in the mechanical engieering field for 17 years and do know a thing or two. I've been to NIST, worked there for 2 years as Project Manager installing their new underground nanotechnology labs(which I also helped design). They know what they are doing. If you can ever take off your "I hate Bush" glasses and actually use your brain instead of your bleeding heart, here is a link: http://wtc.nist.gov/ Not all of us are liberal sheep who believe any conspiricy theory presented. " Sorry, Chris, but "Loose Change" was only the easiest-to-access and easy-to-follow site to recommend; there are literally dozens that expose this crime in undeniable detail. And I've seen the mostly bogus rebuttals; they all typically address only the easiest-to-disprove contentions, the hypotheticals of the allegations. For instance, the much-celebrated "Popular Mechanics" rebuttal spent a page and a half trying to argue how the WTC#7 "collapsed"--it was complete nonsense, and here's why--I personally OWN the DVD/tape on which owner and developer Larry Silverstein ADMITS ON PUBLIC TELEVISION that WTC#7 was "PULLED"!!-blown up with charges supposedly set by the NYC fire department!! Tell me Chris, when's the last time you heard of a fire dept. doing precision demolitions?!?! Do you know how long it takes to properly wire and run a building in order to drop it like WTC#7 did? It takes weeks, and we're supposed to believe it was accomplished by ordinary firefightera in under two hours-- WHILE THE BUILDING WAS ON FIRE NONETHELESS?!?! You have to ask yourself, why was WTC#7 PREwired to blow?! (Maybe cuz it contained the offices of the CIA, Homeland Security, The Secret Service, etc; in other words, the nexus or hub of the whole operation?!?!)Again, Chris, LARRY SILVRSTEIN ADMITTED THAT WTC#7 WAS BLOWN!!! Aint no "science" needed to explain that! Yet you never hear about it on regular media! You remind me of those German citizens living outside the concentrarion camps who, when asked why they didn't stop what was happening right nezt door they said,"We didn't know, we didn't WANT to know"! WAKE UUUPPPP!!! A parting shot: thi alleged NIST site--is that the same National Institute of Science organization that the NeoNaziCons have pressured for years to debunk and "explain" how theres no global warming?!?!...Uh huh...boy.I guess you really CAN fool some people ALL of the time...! "

" Karl, nice to see you like pop science. Loose Change is a joke made by your favorite Bush hating conspiricy theorists. Facts are very scarey to the liberal mind. How about you check out the NIST site and see what real researchers do when the use reason and scientific methods to analyze a problem. Should blow your mind. "

" Nowhere did I write about political parties or views, but rather about social and moral value issues that one must answer to. The killing, stealing, the homeless and unfortunate, the lack of respect towards they fellow man, the list goes on. And this my friend is what Murray is a Crusader for, and that is the bottom line. Off the record, I am a Texas Republican. "

" Hey DD, you DO know that 9-11 could've been prevented by Bush & Cheney if they wanted too, but that Cheney and Wolfowitz and their Neocon Nazi's just couldn't resist planting those explosives in the WTC so that it was a "new Pearl Harbor"--Right? I mean, for all the lip service you give to 9/11, you'd think you would at least have put the time into learning the truth about it? Type in ""LooseChange" into your search engine there and sit back and get educated... "

DD wrote on Feb 7, 2007 1:24 PM:

" To supporter- You speak of human sufferage----remember 9-11, remember you liberals pressing the issue that it should be ok to: burn our flag, not say the pledge, no prayers in school, no religious (at least Christian) displays at the holiday season, leave erveryone else in the world alone and they'll leave us alone, partial birth abortions--they're ok too. Do I need to go on? Mr. Murray does have an opinion, and in the past has made some points, but most of what he says is out of hate for anything other than his liberal mindset. A conservative could be right, but he'd be against it just because the ideas is from a conservative. "

Murray Supporter wrote on Feb 7, 2007 11:56 AM:

" The fine gentlemen, Mr. Lynch, writes often about human sufferage; weather it's taxes, lost of human miltary lives, voters stupidity, the list goes on. But Murray is constantly reminding us that someone has to answer for these social and moral injustices; and this is why he writes on using different writing styles to make a point. This in my opinion is Murray's bottom line and his reason for writing. "

Dear Ms. Green: wrote on Feb 7, 2007 11:16 AM:

" Instead of attacking the messenger, maybe you should listen to the message. While, some of what Mr. Murray said may be incorrect, he did have some valid points. However, these were points often refuted by the political 'right', which is not always right. For us stuck in the middle, the real truth always tends to lie between what the left and right are driving down our throats. And it's starting to taste very bitter and sour. "
