Women's USBC tourney coming up
The Women's USBC Tournament is offering a $400 top prize with its new four-woman team format, which will be contested at Cedar House Lanes Feb. 3 (noon, 3 and 6 p.m.) and Feb. 4 (3 p.m.).

The doubles and singles will be Feb. 10-11 at Polish Falcons, with 1 p.m. squads each day.

Cost is $15 for each event, while all-events ($1) is optional.

be downloaded from the Auburn USBC Web site at www.auburnusbc.com.

Moravia meeting to be held tonight

The Moravia Youth League will hold an organizational meeting for the upcoming baseball and softball seasons at 7 tonight, at the Moravia Fire Hall.

All people interested are asked to attend.

AHS varsity sports to be recognized

The Auburn Sports Boosters will be holding a celebration of Auburn High School varsity sports dance and pasta dinner from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Ukranian National Club.

Dinner is at 5 p.m., and there will be a cash bar and live entertainment. The donation is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets can be bought at the Auburn Athletic office, from any sports booster club member, or by calling 253-8303.

Falcon's monthly meeting is Feb. 5

The Falcon Sportsmen's Club will have its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at the clubhouse on Turnpike Road in Sennett.

The guest speaker will be Rodon Tourle, of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, on behalf of Southern Safari Atlas.

The topic will be hunting and photographing on safaris.

Little League sign-up begins next month

Registration for Pony League and Little League baseball will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 1 and 15, and March 1, at Seward Elementary.

New entries must bring a birth certificate.

Sports Night returns to Sacred Heart

Former Division I and NFL players Mark and David Bavaro will headline the Sacred Heart Sports Night at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the Church Hall on Melrose Road.

Syracuse head football coach Greg Robinson will also be there, and sportscaster Doug Logan will be the emcee.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. The price includes dinner and beverages.

No tickets will be sold at the door.
