The Old-Timers' tournament, which supports the American Heart Association, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at Starlite Lanes.
There is no advance sign-up, so bowlers are asked to check in at noon the day of the tournament. Different age brackets are scheduled for men and women: 50-60, 61-70, and 71-over.

Championships begin Feb. 24
The 72nd annual Auburn United States Bowling Congress Men's Championships start at Rainbow Lanes with the team event. Squads are set for Feb. 24-25 (10 a.m., 2 p.m.), Feb. 26 and 28 (6:30 p.m.), March 1 (6:30 p.m., which is also a proprietors' squad) and March 2 (6:30, 9:30 p.m.).
For doubles and singles, the tournament shifts to King Ferry Lanes beginning March 3-4 (10 a.m., 2:30 p.m.). Bowling continues March 9 (6:30 p.m.) and March 10-11 (10 a.m., 2:30 p.m.).
Entry forms are available at all area bowling centers. The team event costs $100, doubles and singles is $80, while all-events costs $10. For more information, call Dennis O'Donnell at 252-1939.
Women's USBC tourney coming up
The Women's USBC Tournament is offering a $400 top prize with its new four-women team format, which will be contested at Cedar House Lanes Feb. 3 (noon, 3 and 6 p.m.) and Feb. 4 (3 p.m.).
The double and singles will be Feb. 10-11 at Polish Falcons, with 1 p.m. squads each day. Cost is $15 for each event, while all-events ($1) is optional.
Applications are available at bowling centers, and can be downloaded from the Auburn USBC Web site (www.auburnusbc.com). Call Ann Fenton at 923-2180 for more information.
Ryan fires 916 in Sport Bowling
AUBURN - Mike Ryan bowled a 916 four-game series to lead his team into first place in the Smokey's Sport League Thursday at Starlite Lanes.
Ryan had games of 255, 203, 235 and 223. He and his teammate, Jeff Matty, captured 13 of 14 points to improve to 76-22, breaking a first-place tie with team Kevin Ashby-Steve Suslik.
Ashby was second high with 847, leading his team to 11 points and solo second (74-24). Mike Walker II (818), Benny Appleby (803) and Jim Locastro (795) rounded out the high individual scorers.
Todd Wilcox-Gary Feldman Jr. remained in third place (71.5-26.5), helped by Wilcox's 794. Ken Hoalcraft-Dan Pilat held down fourth (65-33), while Patty Wright-Appleby, by virtue of a 13.5-point night, improved one spot to fifth (57.5-40.5).
The rest of the Sport Bowling league standings are: Jim Locastro-Walker II (54.5-43.5), J.T. Locastro-Gary Fedigan (49.5-48.5), Doug Augustine-Ted Phillips (47-51), Bob Butera-Nick Pingryn (45.5-52.5) and Dan McNeilly-Tim Waters (44-54).
Also, Dennis O'Donnell-Becca O'Donnell (37-61), Rob Darling-David Hunter (23.5-74.5), Carl Collier-Wayne Bibbens (21.5-76.5) and Tom Barnard-Marty Gauger (19.5-78.5).
