Wolves win with strong bench play

UNION SPRINGS - Devon Brady led Union Springs with 18 points and 15 rebounds, but it was the bench play of Ron Spencer and Pat Chandler that helped propel the Wolves to a 61-57 win over Newfield in a boys basketball game Tuesday.
Spencer scored seven points and hauled in five rebounds, while Chandler hit a big 3-pointer in the first half.

Julius McClary had 13 points, nine rebounds and four blocks for Union Springs, and point guard Mark Rodriguez chipped in with 11 points.

The Wolves (8-3) host Odessa Montour Thursday.
