The Community Thanksgiving Dinner held at our center was a great success! A total of 185 meals were provided, with 95 individuals dining in house and 90 take-out meals were provided. Turkey, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings made a festive occasion.
We wish to publicly acknowledge with thanks the support of the many organizations that made the dinner something that was appreciated by all who attend.
The following were those involved: Gary Baldwin of the congregation of The Second Baptist Church, for coordinating and preparing the meal; Owen Orchards for the donation of apples; Cindy Clark and the 4-H for apple pies for the meal; Calvary Presbyterian Church for the cranberry sauce; St. Alphonsus Church for turkeys; George Cuthbert of Community Computer Services for the rental of tables and chairs; Dixie at Environmental Solutions for turkeys and food; all the individuals who helped serve and cleanup; and monetary donations for Thanksgiving from Irene Rindfleisch, Lorraine Cuddy, Angelo DeMaso, John and Elizabeth Nolan and Matthew Wolf.
Again, thanks to the Auburn community for its continued great support for this and other services.
