Over the years, my organization has received many calls from people in the community who wanted to know how to report cruelty, how to find a lost dog, what to do with a litter of kittens, etc. These services are in the Community Directory and have been published in the Pennysavers. TO REPORT CRUELTY OR NEGLECT - or an injured animal: Finger Lakes SPCA at 253-5841 (ask for cruelty investigators). If you cannot reach the SPCA, call the Auburn Police, State Police or Cayuga County Sheriff

IF YOU FIND A LOST DOG or CAT - The Auburn Citizen will take your ad free to help find the owner. Also try an ad in the Pennysaver, also post notices and notify the SPCA. The dog may be tattooed or micro chipped. Be sure to indicate where and when the dog or cat was last seen
