After starting the season 1-5, the Auburn hockey team has been on a tear during the last seven games, winning their last three and five of the last seven. They defeated league rival Baldwinsville, 3-2, on Tuesday after Brian Anderson scored on a one-timer from Matt Chadderdon and B.J. Simmons with less than a minute left in regulation.
The Bees were up 2-1 for most of the game after Ben Blujus and Howie Rotchford scored in the first period. Andrew Chadderdon found the net early in the first on a pass from Matt Festa and Simmons. Andrew Chadderdon then scored the clutch goal to tie the game with one minute remaining in the third on a pass from older brother Matt. Tommy Trowell recorded 30 saves.
