Monday night league seeks 3-man team
The Monday night Coca Cola/Pearl Lakes Classic at Cedar House Lanes is seeking a three-man team to bowl the season's second half, beginning Jan. 15.
The combined average of the three bowlers cannot exceed 654. The scratch league, which starts at 8:45 p.m., rolls three games and costs $15.

Ryan rolls 906 series in Sports League
AUBURN #- Mike Ryan bowled a 906 four-game series to lead the way in the Smokey's Sports League Thursday night at Starlite Lanes.
Ryan rolled games of 221, 203, 234 and 248, and has a league-best 225 average after three weeks of Sport Bowling. His fine night allowed him and his teammate, Jeff Matty, to capture nine of 14 points and remain tied for second place (32-10).
Benny Appleby was second high in the league, firing 869, including a 263 game. Kevin Ashby had 867 (with a 255) and helped propel his team into first place (35-7) en route to winning 12 points. Ashby's teammate, Steve Suslik, added an 836 series.
Todd Wilcox had 843 while Dan Pilat shot 812, with a 290 game, as his team won 11 points and earned a tie for second place (32-10). Dennis O'Donnell rolled 810 to round out the top scorers.
Jim Locastro threw 11 out of 12 strikes for a 277 game.
Ashby (216) and Appleby (214) trail Ryan for high average.
The team of Wilcox-Gary Feldman won seven points but dropped from first to fourth place (30.5-11.5). Appleby-Patty Wright (23-19) are fifth while Jim Locastro-Mike Walker II (22.5-19.5), Doug Augustine-Ted Phillips (22-20), Dan McNeilly-Tim Waters (17-25), Bob Butera-Nick Pingryn (16.5-25.5), J.T. Locastro-Gary Fedigan (16-26) and Carl Collier-Wayne Bibbens (16-26) complete the top 11.
Dennis O'Donnell-Becca O'Donnell are 12th (12.5-29.5), followed by David Hunter-Rob Darling (11.5-30.5) and Tom Barnard-Marty Gauger (7.5-34.5).
