Sorry, Rocky Balboa, you didn't even make the list, let alone win. Yes, results of the AP-AOL News Poll are in, and the winner of the 2006 Hero of the Year is (Oh, this is just too much), George W. Bush.
Who'd a thunk it? But wait, according to the AP-AOL News Poll, GWB also placed first in the poll for the “Biggest Villain of the Year 2006.” Go figure. Guess it's just the sign of the times, being confused. And indubitably, there can be little question there's been plenty of that going around.
