JORDAN - Emily Longeretta had four aces and seven assists as Jordan-Elbridge defeated Bishop Ludden 3-0 in a volleyball match Friday.

The Eagles soared to the win 25-20, 25-15 and 25-13.

Other leaders included Amanda Poppe (four aces, six assists), Colleen Manley (six kills, one ace, one block), Lyndsay Hollis (four kills, one assist, one block), Ann Filkins (three kills) and Rachel Jesmer (two aces, one assist).

Jordan-Elbridge (2-4) hosts Solvay, Monday.

Pat Emmer led the Lakers with two goals, and Tory Cole scored once.

Keith Buehler had two assists, and Sean Cooney had one.

Alex Richichi had 19 saves in goal.

WRESTLING

Cazenovia 34, Skaneateles 27

At 125 pounds, Stephen King pinned Cazenovia's Noah Shephard in 3:58. At 135 pounds, Trevor Blum pinned Mike Britton in 3:28.

Nick Morgan won by forfeit in the 140-pound division, John Dougherty won at 152 pounds by pin (5:35), and at 215 pounds, Matt Blake won by a 9-7 decision.

Moravia's Jen Cornwell set a new school record in the shot put (33-0.75) and took second in the event.

Emily Dusseau also placed for the Blue Devils, finishing fifth in the 200-meter dash (28.5).
