I thought Advent had been ditched along with almsgiving, fasting, humility, modesty, obedience and self-denial.

Yeah, the Auburn community, “Faith Matters” is a breath of fresh Christmas air for this musty old cynic. For a moment there, I did think that the pagans had taken over. “A Baltic Christmas Pie.” O Glory.
