Taxpayer woes won't hinder White House holiday meal

It's back to business as usual. Our government is so corrupt in their ways. Whether the Republicans or Democrats. What change?
Before the elections, fuel prices were going down. That was a nice relief. The weather has been decent, therefore, no increase in heating. People are traveling as usual. Now, that our votes are history, the price of fuel is on the rise again. What corrupt lie are they telling us now? I forgot.

Except none of them can do anything about it.

I viewed Mrs. Bush's interview with ABC's “Good Morning America,” on Friday, Dec. 1. How lovely the White House is, and the Christmas meal they will be serving: Assorted extravagant entrees to fit many appetites of their guests; many salads, fancy desserts and cakes, shrimp cocktail, along with the many spirits.

I wonder if they will have any inkling, on Christmas Day, while they are stuffing their mouths, the many people who are suffering, due to loss of work, decrease in wages, and the high cost in fuel and other utilities. Or the many people at war and not with their family. The many families who will barely have a meal to have with their family, because they have no money. How about that little child who does not get anything for Christmas?

Christmas is a time for giving. How about the Bush's give up their extremely high-priced party, in honor of the less fortunate. Imagine that.

" I wonder how many homeless or poverty stricken people Ms. Lawler will be having over this Christmas? How much money did she donate? How much time did she use to mentor? Pot meet kettle. "
