Sport bowling to start at Starlite
Starlite Lanes hopes to start a 10- or 12-week Sport Bowling league at 7 p.m. Thursday nights beginning Dec. 7. The goal is 16 two-man teams. Smokey#'s Restaurant will sponsor the league.
Sport Bowling, an optional membership level of the United States Bowling Congress, emphasizes the importance of delivering the ball accurately and consistently, making adjustments in technique, adjusting to the way lane oil patterns change and converting spares.
