Powers leads St. Francis

Dylan Powers scored 14 points, Phil Cooper added 12, and St. Francis beat St. Mary's I, 54-44, in a seventh- and eighth-grade CYO basketball game.
Chris Watros scored 15 points for St. Mary's, and Cody Cottrell scored 10.

St. Mary's II 48, Sacred Heart 43

Matt Collela scored 26 points to lead St. Mary's, and Matt Covich added 11 points.

For Sacred Heart, Dominick Petrosino scored 13 points, and Brain Roe had 12.

FIFTH/SIXTH GRADE

Holy Family 41, St. Hyacinth 26

Mark Bachman had 21 points for Holy Family, and Matt Nolan chipped in with 10.

Alex Duberci had 12 points for St. Hyacinth, and Chris Blay added six.

St. Francis 35, St. Mary's 22

Matt Faiola scored 17 points, and Nick Camardo added eight to lead St. Francis.

Matt Johns had 12 points for St. Mary's, and Joe Messina scored six.

Sacred Heart I 32,

Sacred Heart II 16

Ryan Ringwood scored 12 points, and Tom Herbert added eight for Sacred Heart I.

Matt Brooks led Sacred Heart II with seven points.

St. Alphonsus I 29,

St. Alphonsus II 19

Ryan McCormick led St. Alphonsus I with 11 points, and T.J. Sochan and Justin Fasce each had six points.

Matt Netti scored 13 points for St. Alphonsus II, and Frank Stomps added six.

INSTRUCTIONAL

St. Francis II 10, St. Francis II 8

Alex Cooper led St. Francis I with four points, and Kevin Manning scored four for St. Francis II.

St. Alphonsus I 14,

St. Alphonsus II 4

Jack Hogan scored eight points for St. Alphonsus I, and Jacob Weed and Cohle Dragone each scored two for St. Alphonsus II.

St. Hyacinth 22,

St. Alphonsus III 18

Kevin Deyo and Brett Bielowicz each scored eight points for St. Hyacinth, and Scott Minnoe scored 16 points for St. Alphonsus.

Holy Family 10, St. Mary's 9

Kevin Merril scored five points for Holy Family, and Nick Covich added nine points for St. Mary's.

Sacred Heart 12, St. Peter & Paul 2

Jack Burgmaster scored seven points in the win, and Rebecca Chalupnicki scored two points for St. Peter & Paul.
