The Auburn Bantam travel team split four games during its Thanksgiving Tournament at Casey Park.
In the first game, Auburn topped Onondaga, 6-3 with a hat trick from Jarad Humphrey and a goal apiece from Joshua Anderson, Stephen Komanecky and Stephen Dec. Bobby Gage, Harrison Davenport and Nick Herlihy each had an assist. Tyler Falcone made 26 saves.
In the second game, Auburn edged Skaneateles, 4-3. Anderson, Dec, Gage and Justin Corcoran each had a goal, and Mikey Piwinski and Toly Capacefalo each added an assist. Mark Bruno stopped 22 shots.
Auburn fell in the third game, 7-3 to Onondaga. Humphrey, Dec and Urson Lasagna scored, and Gage and Davenport each had an assist. Komanecky made 10 saves, and Falcone stopped 13 shots.
In the final game, Auburn lost to Skaneateles, 6-1. Dec scored the lone goal, Bruno made 10 saves and Falcone had 16 stops.
SQUIRT TRAVEL
The Ice Hawks went 1-1-2 over the weekend.
Against Canandaigua, Jake Orlando's two goals powered Auburn to a 3-1 win. Sean Lattimore scored the other goal, and Mike Gentile added an assist. Brett Lowe made 13 saves.
Auburn tied Lysander, 4-4. Gentile, Orlando, Dan Entenmann and Nick Netti each scored, and Orlando also added an assist. Amanda Lupo stopped 13 shots.
Auburn tied Olean as well, 2-2. Lattimore and Austin Gregory scored the goals, and Orlando and Jay Wilkes provided assists. Lupo made 10 saves.
The Ice Hawks were blanked in the final game, 4-0 at Lysander. Lupo made 13 saves.
PEE WEE TRAVEL
The Ice Hawks attended the PeeWee Challenge in Skaneateles and went 0-2-1.
Auburn tied Skaneateles in the opener, 2-2 with goals from Kenny Hall and Connor Davenport. Jeff Gardner made 41 saves.
Saratoga topped Auburn in Game 2, winning 15-1. Davenport scored the lone goal with an assist from Kyle Hlywa. Brendan Entenmann made 58 saves for Auburn.
Auburn fell in the final game, 11-1 to Lysander. Luke Petrosino scored the only goal, Gardner stopped 40 shots, and Entenmann made 15 saves.
PEE WEE HOUSE
James Dodge scored twice and added an assist, and Scott Moniz score the other goal in a 7-3 loss to Onondaga. Jake Jackson, Kayla Wiseman and Cole Bowen each had an assist. Jeff Gardner made 51 saves, and Nate Ryan played good defense.
Dodge then scored the lone goal in a 7-1 loss to Oswego. Moniz and Zak Shea assisted, and Gardner made 35 saves. Nora Garrett played well on defense.
MITE HOUSE I
Auburn was a perfect 2-0 over the weekend with a pair of strong wins.
The Ice Hawks topped Fulton, 10-2, with a hat trick from Kaiden Tubbert and two goals each from Casey Komanecky, Noah Morhiser and Adam Lupo. T.J. Reilly and Sam Hensel also scored. Reilly added two assists, and Morhiser and Tubbert each had one. Matt Hesse, Tyler Ely and Logan Enge played well on defense. C.J. Panek made 11 saves.
Utica was no match for Auburn, either, in a 7-1 Ice Hawks win. Tubbert, Komanecky and Lupo each scored twice, and Reilly scored the other goal. Tubbert, Lupo and Hesse each had one assist. Panek played outstanding in goal.
