Man killed by captive deer

ELLENBURG - A man died Sunday after being attacked by a deer he was keeping in captivity, state police said.
Ronald Donah, 43, of Ellenburg, was attacked by the buck around 7:30 a.m., said state Trooper Joseph House. About a half dozen deer were found penned up on the property in Ellenburg, about 180 miles north of Albany in Clinton County.

Details of Donah's injuries and what may have prompted the attack were not available Sunday night.
