Two Cents

It seems my replier hasn't ever been around real witches or researched their Web sites to see that most of them freely bash and criticize Christians, yet call themselves tolerant of others.
Label marriage what it really is, a financial contract between two people.

To the person who has a problem with the Two Cents feature: If you don't like it, don't write in.

To the poster who made the comment that “conservatives are better people than liberals” - the mere fact that you would make such an oversimplified generalization completely refutes the statement you're attempting to make. Hypocrisy is a term conservatives know all too well.

The Citizen is not publishing enough of their Citizens' Say on their Web site. They should be publishing more of it.

To “Here We Go” in Saturday's, Nov. 4 Citizen: Thank God here in America we have Christmas items out early, so loved ones can purchase Christmas items for their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers serving this great country in different parts of the world and get them mailed in time for Christmas. Also, this senior citizen prefers to shop early for Christmas things to avoid the crowds and before the snow flies!

It is plain to see my Two Cent warnings to the state's gun owners did not get them out to vote - God help us.

" Too bad all the people that paid 10 bucks apiece to go to the dome couldn't have gotten together and supported these same kids for 11 bucks a year with improved top notch facilities. "

" North St is Auburn's newest speedway? It certainly is a speedway if you consider going 30 MPH on a very bumpy, harsh, potholed road, is fast. "

" Why does Auburn get grants for private people and not for things that benefit the whole community. I'd rather the city get a grant for parks and recreation than applying so that a private person can "attempt" to restore a vacant rundown ware house into a profit making business. What's next, no taxes on any property he owns to "help support the project" which is "good for Auburn"? "

" It appears that North Street is Auburn's newest speedway after Grant Ave. of course. If you go the speed limit, be prepared for the aggressiveness of other drivers. "

" In response to Carol Sanders' letter on 11/13, I agree whole heartedly. It is because too many people do not care about any one but them selves and children copy them. "

" After a continuing rash of thefts of items from the boys locker room at Weedsport Central School, the schools reply is "don't leave items in your locker." I wonder what action the school district is taking to catch these criminals who are stealing from the athletes who leave their belongings in their locker? I don't believe the adage that if you get robbed in a bad neighborhood it's your fault for being there in the first place! The fault lies with the people who are stealing these items, not the students. The school is not sovereign territory. If no serious action is taken by the school administration, then an outside police agency should be alerted to the problem. "

" 1. Since both Democratic and Republican candidates opposed gun owner rights, those supporting these rights had little choice -- Tweedle-Dum or Tweedle-Dee. 2. I have indeed known quite a few real witches. Sometimes they are resentful and/or bitter towards Christians due to the way they have been treated down the years, but overall, they are a much more tolerant group, and their official faith is more tolerant -- many forms of Christianity specifically condemn anyone who does not believe exactly as they do (as in, if you don't, you'll be d*mned and go to H*ll -- now, I wouldn't call that very tolerant or inclusive....)
