Anyone who voted for Hevesi should be ashamed

Monday, November 13, 2006 9:31 AM EST

How could someone who stole state services of $170,000, receive over 2 million votes?
Do people not care that Hevesi considers himself above the law?

Are people that uninformed, or do they just not care about corruption?

If a DOT worker “borrowed” $1,000 worth of gas, he'd be fired.

If I took the new state truck home for three or four years, I'd probably be let go. I guess we have a different set of standards for white-collar crime.

Over 2 million people should be ashamed of themselves. Sad part is, they don't know the difference.
