Voting for Hillary and the Democrats won't help

Monday, November 13, 2006 9:30 AM EST

The only thing that saddens me more than an otherwise intelligent person voting Republican, is an otherwise intelligent person voting Democrat and thinking it's going to make a difference.
Hillary voted for the military action in Iraq and only differs from the president in the way an armchair quarterback differs from the QB himself.

America will be going into Iran very soon and the Democrats will only put up enough of a fight to make it look like they have different corporate backers.

Short of a couple of bones for the masses, a Democratic majority in Congress won't stop the wars, corruption and general takeover of our country by big business.

I would like to put my vote where my pen is.

To all you Democrats who wanted to vote third party but just can't shake the lesser-of-two-evils mentality: If we go into Iran, you vote third party next time.

If we don't, I'll vote Democrat. Deal or no deal?

Oh, and remember, they'll have a really good excuse.

They always do.

An honest opinion wrote on Nov 13, 2006 4:18 PM:

" I feel sad that voters still vote party line or candidates and not for the person's ability to do the job right. My biggest problem this past election was the option for voters to mark off a single box at the top of the paper ballot, to vote straight party line, and then walk out thinking that they vote the American way. That war you are talking about is not about voting party lines, but rather, the best choices for the USA. So please, defend America and vote according to what is best. I lost two sons in this conflict so far. I need to believe that they gave, so that we can prosper. Amen. "
