Former Swaby's to become a restaurant

The former Swaby's Restaurant and Bar has a new owner. Anthony Pacini bought the vacant three-story building and plans to open a new restaurant in the building, at 6 South St. in Auburn.

Valley National Bank of Wayne, N.J., sold the structure for $125,000. James Beckwith, the salesman for Bouck Real Estate who completed the transaction, said the new restaurant will help with the push to revitalize the city's downtown.

The owners are remodeling, but aim to keep many of the antiques and artifacts they find.
