Two more teenage boys were arrested by the Auburn Police Department Wednesday on charges they burglarized two Columbus Street, Auburn, businesses between 2:30 a.m. to 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
Two 15-inch plasma televisions, a cash register, a candy machine and approximately $60 in coins were taken from the Auburn Diner.

Spray paint, bolt cutters and a painter's respirator mask were taken from Carovail Inc., a farm equipment and fertilizer business.

William Belgard, 17, of Auburn and Chad Mabe, 16, of Auburn were arrested Wednesday. On Tuesday, Paul Mettler, 16, of Auburn and Martin Short, 17, of Auburn were arrested.

They all have been charged with two counts of felony third-degree burglary, felony third-degree grand larceny and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Mettler also was charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief for spraypainting a fence on the diner lot, police said.

The cash register and candy dispenser were recovered in a creek behind 87 Columbus St.

One of the plasma televisions was recovered from an unrelated person, who police said took possession of it unwittingly.

The boys were identified using surveillance security tapes from Carovail and Tops Market on Genesee Street, where the teenagers cashed the stolen coins, police said.

" Not only do the teachers at AHS spend hours working diligently on coming up with opportunities for students like these, but they often times spend the majority of class time and after school time offering students a route towards success and staying off the streets. Too big to handle students with disabilities? No. Are the weekends, homelife, and behavioral characteristics of today's youth often out of the hands of the teachers and admnistration. Yes. It takes a good home, school attendance, and a willingness of the student to overcome disabilities, in order to recieve a diploma. "

" Hey, Long Gone--AHS does not give students with learning disabilities like ADD a fair education. They do not try to help these students. I know from experience. AHS is too big to care about these types of students!! "
