TV ads show financial disparity
ALBANY - One television ad was a Hollywood-quality depiction of energetic children in a classroom.
Another was a black-and-white, grainy image of a flickering, bare light bulb. The commercials staked out the many differences between candidates for governor Democrat Eliot Spitzer and Republican John Faso as they hit the airwaves with $20 million worth of television ads.
The mostly 30-second spots also underscored the differences in campaign resources.
