Arcuri will represent our interests in Congress

To learn the most about a political candidate, it is a good idea to follow the money.
Take a look at the campaign contributions to Ray Meier. They will tell you that if he is elected to Congress, Meier will be influenced by a corporate special interests. Meier has taken money from oil companies, drug manufactures and tobacco companies.

His opponent, Mike Arcuri, has pledged not to take money from any of these big businesses. He has already refused a contribution from a drug company.

For me, this is important.

Oil companies are gouging consumers. The cost of prescription drugs is a big reason for the high cost of health care. When the Medicare drug bill was passed, the big drug companies made sure the law would not allow the government to negotiate prices. Tobacco companies lied about the health risk of cigarettes.

Now, they want to get out of paying negligence lawsuits. I am an hourly wage earner.

I believe Arcuri will better represent me in Congress.

" Mr. Skowron, you had better check your facts. Arcuri has knowingly accepted money from a convicted felon (insurance fraud). He has also accepted money from a secretary in a Utica, NY law office who did not know him but wanted to see him succeed in his bid. In order to do this, she sent him $4,000 that she earned from working overtime. When questioned by the Utica newspaper, she said that she did not know who he was. Is this a little laundering of money from another source. I wonder????????? This is not a good time for running on a Republican ticket but I can assure you that Ray Meier, whom I know personally, can be trusted and will represent us all to the very best of his ability as a US Congressman.
