It's nice to see a positive article on third party candidates as evidenced in Judy Ducayne's Tuesday Citizen column.

Despite some of the letters to the editor that have been published in recent weeks, you don't have to fall, or put up for, the two party trap. If anybody wants info on the third party candidates running in your area, go to www.nysthirdparty.com for a listing, and also where to go to get more info on them. There will also be articles on why you can and should vote third party. After reading these, you'll be able to counter anyone who tells you that you're wasting your vote.

Remember that you are not obligated to vote for the two main parties, and they are certainly not entitled to your vote, although they would like you to think that.
