County agency pushes grazing

Following the organically produced goods trend, a Cayuga County agency organized a farm tour Wednesday to showcase a “new push” in farming.

A group of county employees, farmers and anyone with a stake in the region's land jumped on a bus that took them to three stops on this year's Cayuga County Graze New York Tour.

The county Soil and Water Conservation District hosted the tour to provide successful examples of grass grazing.
