Teachings of the Bible can prevent many problems

This is a letter of concern, especially for our young people.
The home life of a child, even at an early age, will usually determine their future when they are adults.

The Bible has much to say about a child.

Proverbs 22:6 - “Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Verse 15 - “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.”

Proverbs 13:24 - “He that spareth his rod, hateth his son: But he that loveth him hasteneth him betimes.”

Ephesians 6:1-3 - “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment, with promise; that it may be well with thee and thou mayest live long on the earth.”

A known name we have been hearing via radio, TV and newspaper, Ralph “Bucky” Phillips, was an abused boy who grew up to become a compulsive thief.

If he was brought up to love God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and be a Christian, maybe his life could have been much different.

Also, our young people are killing one another through drinking, speeding and peer pressure. It often starts at a young age.

So the conclusion is found in the Bible, John 3:7 - “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again,” the words of Jesus.

The preaching of the Rev. Billy Graham and his son, Franklin Graham, is truth.

Taking the Bible and prayer out of our schools has led to the downfall of America. There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun.

Before Jesus comes back, things are going to get worse. So parents and everyone, get saved, born again.

Revelation 22.7 - “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”

" Barf...too bad you couldn't take religion out of everything in this world...then and only then could you have peace. "

" just because you read the Bible does not mean you will grow up to uphold the law, just ask all the abuse victims wheter or not the Bible made their Priests good citizens as they abused them. "

" I agree with everything except the bible in school. Parents should teach their children thier chosen religion in a Church or private School. Public school or any government office should not enforce religion. If a child wants to pray, then by all means do so. But do not force anyone to do so in under a government setting. That is a theocracy and is against the constitution. "
