Bush has the right attitude about war on terrorism

Saturday, September 16, 2006 11:32 PM EDT

Let us not be pessimistic or go wobbly, things are looking up.
The president of Iran is loud and clear: “Israel must be destroyed.”

His recent pronouncement, “If you would like to have good relations with the Iranian nation in the future, bow down before the greatness of the Iranian nation and surrender. If you do not accept to do this, the Iranian nation will force you to surrender and bow down.”

The killers who attacked and killed us are now blowing their horn at the moon.

A triumphant challenge and the question - “are you satisfied with the direction in which the country is going” - is inane.

When President Bush is out of office, can anyone assure me that we won't bow down and surrender?

Winston Churchill again: “Some things are worse than war. Slavery is worse. Dishonor is worse than war.”

And the last phrase of our Declaration of Independence: “ With a firm reliance on the protecting of divine providence we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.”

These words are not gone with the wind.

" I agree Bill, I hope people will see what the stakes are. As long as they listen to Howard Stern and other narrow veiws. This is a war like no other and more is at stake "
