Residents don't want changes
AUBURN - A chorus of “if it ain't broke, don't fix it,” came from senior citizens concerned about a proposal to remove a volunteer program from the Boyle Senior Center.
On Wednesday evening, more than 80 people packed into a community room in Schwartz Towers, the spot selected for the new station of Retired Seniors Volunteer Program.
Superintendent of Public Works Jerry DelFavero wanted feedback on his cost-cutting proposal to consolidate RSVP and the Senior Citizens program into the towers.
