Each Monday, The Citizen features someone from the Finger Lakes community.
This week, we spotlight Timothy J. Sincebaugh of Sincebaugh Automotive.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A. Helping someone by solving a difficult problem with their vehicle.
Q. What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
A. Scheduling my day so that all my clients' vehicles are completed on time.
Q. What would be your dream job, and in what part of the world would you be working?
A. I am already here. I love talking to people, repairing their vehicles and running my business. I would not want to do that anywhere but in Auburn.
Q. What's the best way to relax after a tough day?
A. Going to camp in the summer and enjoying beautiful Owasco Lake with my family.
Q. What do you like most about living and/or working in the Finger Lakes region?
A. I love the weather here, although I could do without the coldest days. We really are lucky that there is very rarely a catastrophic weather event in the area.
Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A. Operating a successful automotive repair facility in Auburn with the latest state of the art equipment in a modern, client-friendly facility.
Q. If you were to win the lottery tomorrow, what's the first thing you'd do?
A. I'd share the winnings with my parents, brothers and sister.
Q. Do you have any special plans for the next few months?
A. In October I'll be taking a much-needed vacation to Las Vegas with my wife and some friends.
