In his third visit to Auburn since being elected in 1998, U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer D-NY, reviewed the sea wall project at Emerson Park Monday, took a brief drive around the city and visited the new Democratic Party headquarters.

Running on a tight schedule, Schumer then drove to Romulus for an hour-long tour of a fledgling warehouse business that recently took over space at the old Seneca Army Depot.
Schumer made the brief trip through the region to push his agenda of improving tourist and historical sites, as well as developing employment initiatives, to stimulate the local economy.
