Skaneateles floats through time at boat show

They are the swans that swim in sailors' dreams.

More than 80 vintage boats of every shape and size will grace the 28th annual Antique and Classic Boat Show in Skaneateles this year. Visitors will see such treasures as a 1915 Acme Folding Canoe, from Ottawa, Canada, and a 1959 Penn Yan outboard motorboat.

“The boats are beautiful,” said Sarah Wiles, co-chairperson of the event and co-owner of Mid-Lakes Navigation Co. in Skaneateles.
