We could go back and forth about what is politically correct but I think it would be bashing my head against a wall.
The point of my letter, along with many others, was to educate this letter writer to all the financial burdens there are to an illness of Ethan Moore's sort. And yes, her comments were insensitive and ignorant.
Obviously the good outweighs the bad, and thank God for people who have supported any benefit for anyone with an extended illness.
So to the “lady” who wrote in response to my letter, again the “Two Cents” editorial, at least I have the nerve to sign my name.
As my mother used to say, “If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.”
I think that about says it all.
