Auburn softball camp begins July 24
There will be an Auburn softball camp sponsored by Auburn sports boosters.
The sessions will be July 24 - 27 for girls entering grades 6-9 this fall and July 31- Aug. 3 for girls entering grades 2-5.
They will run from 9 a.m.- noon at the Auburn High school.
The cost is $35 per camper and Bob Lee, Auburn's varsity softball coach, will be in charge of the camp.

YMCA to host girls volleyball camp
There will be a girls volleyball camp from 8:30 a.m.to noon July 17-21.
Auburn High School varsity volleyball coach Jennifer Hall will run the camp.
A pizza party will be held on the last day for all participants.
The program is open to girls ages 12 and older.
The fee is $35 for YMCA members and $70 for the general public.

Triathlon will hit Geneva today
The Musselman Triathlon will be offering a prize purse of $4,200.
First-place winners in the men's and women's races will be awarded $1,000.
The half-ironman distance swim-bike-run event will take place July 16, in Geneva.

Basketball clinic starts in August
Auburn varsity basketball coach will be instructing a summer basketball camp for youth ages 7-15.
The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon from Aug. 21-25.
The fee is $35 for YMCA members and $70 for the general public.

Champions for Life holding soccer camp
Champions for Life Sports Center is offering an Outdoor Soccer Camp at Everest Park in Owasco.
The coach will be Tully JV boys coach Enrique Wisser.
The camp for boys and girls will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day and campers will meet and be picked up at Champions for Life Sports Center at 453 Grant Avenue Road in Auburn.
In the event of rain, they will stay at the center.
The sessions are $150 per person and the dates are as follows: 14 and under, July 17-21 and for ages 17 and under, July 24-28.

Father Shamon golf tourney in two weeks
The 15th Annual Knights of Columbus Father Shamon Memorial Golf Tournament for catholic education will tee off on July 30 at Dutch Hollow Country Club with a 1p.m. start.
The $75 golfers fee will include golf, cart, prizes, course refreshments and a steak dinner at the conclusion of the tournament.
It will be a Captain and Crew format with any combination of adult men, women, mixed, youth and family.
Prizes will be given to the winners of each division.
There will be a chance to win $10,000, and other prizes in a hole-in-one contest.
Individuals or business can sponsor a tee or hole by donating $100 and other sponsorship is available.
