Ask and you shall receive. It worked for the Fingerlakes Minor Soccer League.
The not-for-profit organization was in need of new equipment and new goal sets. Thanks to First Niagara Bank, the 737 enrolled soccer players in the league got what they needed.
“Being a not-for-profit (organization) has its financial challenges,” said Wendy Brinkerhoff, the assistant manager at First Niagara Bank and a board member for the Fingerlakes Minor Soccer League. “We would like to express our sincere thanks to First Niagara Bank for its generous donation.”
The charitable contributions committee at First Niagara Bank agreed to make a donation of $2,000, which were used for new goals at Auburn's East Middle School, and another set was erected in Port Byron.
