Auburn collected four home runs, including a two-run dinger from Zach Prentice, who collected three hits, and S.K. Post American Legion 1724 of Auburn topped LaBuff-Cole Post 911 of Cato 15-6 in American Legion baseball Tuesday.

Dave Shellhammer roped two hits including a two-run home run. Dan Zambito smacked a solo homer and had two RBIs, while Mike Assmannn smashed a grand slam.

Nick Prentice also got a pair of hits, Pat Montgomery added two RBIs, and Kurt Handley added one RBI. Steve Deyo pitched 6 1-3 innings allowing only two earned runs for Auburn. Shellhammer picked up the save.

Rob Dolph, Paul Navarro and Tim Pierce shared the mound for Cato. Pete Marascalchi collected two hits with two RBIs. Austin Townsend had a double.
