In answer to Ronnie Kelley's ridiculous remark that President Bush is cutting funding for a program that provides food for the elderly, stating that in George Bush's America, it's OK to starve the elderly: come on, Ronnie - pinch yourself.
You also stated that if Mr. Bush could get away with it, he would probably cut funding for WIC.
Let me tell you something, Ronnie. If I had my way, with all the most scandalous abuse I've witnessed in the WIC program, I wouldn't just cut some funding, I would temporarily abolish the program, starting over again with more stringent qualifications, rules and regulations for anyone who wishes to receive benefits under this program. I would also add more investigators to keep a tighter rein on caseworkers and their clients.
Last but not least you said what bothers you the most is that you cannot understand how most intelligent people can be stupid enough to make excuses for Mr. Bush. The answer, Ronnie, is that most stupid people are just not intelligent enough to understand why.
