Did you volunteer to be an EMT for the fair?

No, I am a DIRT Motorsports Safety Crew member. They pay a committee of us to work during the fair.

Aside from working, what are your favorite events at the Cayuga County Fair?

I like the different grandstand events, the concerts and shows. I used to love seeing all the monster trucks.

What is your typical day like working at the fair?

There is a large number of us so we rotate on eight-hour shifts patrolling the grounds and events on the track.

What kinds of injuries have you dealt with?

Nothing major has happened. Any injuries so far have been minor cuts. On the track I have helped people with minor injuries after they were racing.
